We are looking for a quality inspector for our second shift. The hours for this shift are M-F 2:30PM - 11:00PM (Mandatory) or 2:30PM - 12:00AM (Optional).
This role requires experience with blueprint reading, manual inspection, and visual inspection. Preferably experience with CNC parts.
The primary function of this role will be inspecting first piece parts of a production run and in process parts that are currently running production. You must be able to inspect a part, using the blueprint and part specifications, and then issue adjustments for what is wrong with the part. You must be able to use calipers, thread gages, micrometers, and bore gages.
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent
Related work experience of a minimum of 2 years
Strong Math skills
Communicate and understand work instructions both verbally and written in English
Blueprint reading
Ability to use measuring equipment
Understanding of Mazak horizontal machines
Basic understanding of a ISO quality system
Understanding of cutting tools
Ability to lift 50 LBS. when required
Physical demands (Heavy lifting, balancing, kneeling, crouching)
Ability to work in an un air-conditioned facility
The ability to work in a high noise level environment
The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly
Ability to stand for 8 hours, walk and reach with hands and arms.
Ability to operate iPad / tablet technology
Strong work ethic / Positive attitude / Self-motivated /Ability to work in a team
